Each winter, Vermont Ski Tours offers a series of Open Bus Trips—scheduled weekend ski getaways that depart from popular ski shops and convenient community pickup points throughout the region. These trips are perfect for individuals, families, and small groups who want the full VST experience without needing to organize a private charter. Riders simply reserve a seat, meet at the designated departure location, and enjoy a fully planned ski weekend with transportation, lodging, breakfast, and lift tickets bundled into one easy package.

Open Bus Trips follow a simple, proven format: passengers board at a ski shop or community hub, where parking is easy and staff are familiar with VST’s process. From there, a professional winter‑trained driver and a VST escort handle the entire weekend—hotel check‑ins, lift ticket distribution, timing, and logistics—so participants can focus on skiing, not planning. These trips are first come, first served and typically sell out quickly each season, making them one of the most popular ways for skiers and riders to join the VST community without needing a full group of their own.

April: Save‑the‑Dates Announced   VST releases the upcoming season’s open‑trip calendar in April so skiers can plan ahead.

Labor Day: Pricing Released   Final pricing for open bus trips becomes available in late summer. Once pricing is posted, registration opens—and seats begin filling quickly.

First Come, First Served   Open bus trips almost always sell out due to limited bus capacity and high demand. Early registration is the best way to guarantee a seat.

Registration Deadline   Registration closes 30 days before the trip or when the bus fills up—whichever comes first. Because most trips sell out, many riders secure their seats well before the 30‑day mark.
